Rancher Kubernetes Cluster on Red Hat Linux
September 2026 - Present
Built a production-grade Kubernetes platform across three Red Hat Linux VMs with Rancher, Docker, and NGINX routing.
The objective
Provide a centrally managed container platform with dependable application routing and controlled workload exposure.
My contribution
Designed and operated a three-VM Red Hat Enterprise Linux cluster using Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes, and configured NGINX routing.
Engineering approach
- Joined three VMs into one cluster and managed workloads through Rancher.
- Established repeatable container deployment and service operations.
- Used NGINX as the external entry point, mapping exposed endpoints to the appropriate service and port.
Validation and operational safeguards
- Applied health checks and controlled ingress paths.
- Defined service boundaries so applications could be reached without exposing every workload directly.
The outcome
A foundation for container orchestration, safer releases, centralized cluster management, and dependable application routing.
